Paints in oil and acrylic on fabric and sometimes handmade paper. Abstract art with a poetic touch and elements of spiritual interpretation and freedom.
Raised in rural Sweden among flowers and vibrant green habitats. Birgitta's father was a gardener and also a fine artist, just like Birgitta's grandfather. Therefore, art was important to her early in life. Currently, Birgitta lives on the wonderful Öland and here she found the spirit that triggered her motivation to start painting seriously. Nature, silence, infinity, light, the sea and meetings with people are Birgitta's inspiration.
