Walk in Anna Rydstedt's footsteps
The Literature Trail starts from the parking lot at Ventlinge church. There is an information board with leaflets containing guidance, a map and poems.
You can choose a longer hike that goes past Anna's farm and writer's cottage, follows the old Sjögatan down to Kalmarsund and further about 600 meters north. The turning point is a beach, Maren, which is a suitable place for a coffee break. The hike down to Maren and back to the church is about 2.5 km in easy terrain, also stroller and wheelchair friendly. You can also choose to walk a shorter loop out on the alvar, about 500 meters.
