Now the air is fresh, the calm and tranquility is beginning to spread over the island. The golden season arrives. It does not take place at any date, but follows nature and its shifts. When the farmers have brought home the third harvest, when the calves are no longer stiff but have grown after a long summer's grazing of lush grass, when the cornfields are no longer undulating in sunny yellow rapeseed but golden ears of barley, rye or oats; Then we have the golden season. In September, the pumpkins, which were planted in May, are harvested. Take a tour around the island where you will find decorative and edible pumpkins in all sorts of shapes, colours and sizes.
And don't forget that the selection is larger than what we recommend, more places that sell cougars can be found here - on Öland's Harvest Festival's website.
