Penåsa Ödeby
Penåsa, which today is a deserted village out on Stora Alvaret, was admitted as a new homestead in 1779. At that time, the village consisted of two farms that together had 3/32 of the population, which means that the farms were very small
In 1844, Penåsa ceased to be a homestead, one farm was sold to Kastlösa villagers and the other to Bjärby. The last farmers out here were Israel Olofsson and Jonas Andersson. Today there are the foundations of a residential building that consisted of a room and a large kitchen. There are also fruit trees and berry bushes and the ruins of a stone cellar.
