To get to the Bird Towers in Ottenby lund, make a detour towards Öland's Södra udde from road 136. You can reach Södra Lundtornet by taking the first exit to the left and following the signs to Norra Lunden / Schäferiängarna to the Norra lund parking lot. At the parking lot there is a rest area with toilets and tables. From the parking lot, an approximately 1.5 km long gravel road leads you east towards Norra Lundtornet. To get to Södra Lundtornet, take the first exit from the gravel road to the right and follow Finnslättsvägen towards the Södra lund parking lot. Before you reach the parking lot, continue on Finnslättsvägen east towards Schäferiängarna. When you reach the edge of the grove, you then continue south to arrive at Södra Lundtornet.
An alternative route to get to Södra Lundtornet is to continue on the road towards Öland's Södra udde to the Södra lund car park. From the car park, you then follow the signs to Södra Lundtornet for about 700 meters on a natural road. The tower, which is in two ledges and made of sheet metal, is located at the edge of the grove with a magnificent view of the Schäferi meadows. The lower ledge is with a roof. At the tower there are coffee tables and seating and an information board.
