Lake Hornsjön
Hornsjön is Öland's largest lake with an area of just over 200 hectares and at its deepest it is about four meters. The lake is located in Horns kungsgård's nature reserve and is an important water source for northern Öland. Originally, Hornsjön was a sea bay but has been narrowed by land uplift.
Hornsjön can be visited from several directions, the easiest is to start from one of the parking lots at Horns Kungsgård or Klosterholmen.
