Högsrum Church
Högsrum's church is located next to the road between Rälla and Gärdslösa and consists of a defensive tower with many vaulted rooms and brick stairs from about 1200. Salkyrkan was built in 1822.
In Högsrum parish there was probably already a church of wood in the 11th century. However, where this church stood is not known. During the first half of the 12th century, a stone church was built on the site where the church stands today, with a nave, chancel and apse. A tower to the west was added during the second half of the 12th century. This tower is still largely there today, as is the west gable of the nave.
