Borgholm
The setting of Borgholm is magnificent, to say the least. On the open grave ground, the burnt-out castle ruin towers to the west, during the hours of darkness it is also illuminated, and then you know that it is time to slow down and soon turn on the turn signal on the car, although you can wait until you have passed the curve and Queen Victoria's rest home of course.
Borgholm is a bustling summer town with a pleasant tranquillity. A sandy beach practically in the middle of town and lovely pedestrian streets that invite you to shop, eat and drink. Hotels, restaurants, bars and nightlife, you will find that in Borgholm. But you will also find local market stalls, galleries, museums and handicrafts. In the harbor there are fantastic restaurants with sea views and the guest harbor attracts lots of boaters during a long season. Considering Borgholm's size, it must be said that the range is large and varied. Here you will find interior design and fashion from well-known brands. At the bottom of the harbor there is a fantastic building with architecture from the last century when Borgholm consolidated its heyday as a seaside resort. Also in the center there are fantastic wooden villas. Perhaps it is precisely the variety of modern and retro, gourmet food and street food, and the inviting atmosphere that makes Borgholm such a popular summer town.
