07. Tingstad Flisor - Penåsa

Tingstad Flisor - Penåsa is a 5-km long trail, marked with poles.

From the solitary limestone slabs (see ”Gösslunda-Tingstad flisor”), the trail continues south towards Penåsa and winds along a varied landscape with juniper bushes and open pastures. At a large wooden sign, the route meets an intersecting trail leading to Millersten (see ”Millersten”). Just before the parking area at Penåsa you will cut across an Iron Age burial field, where many orchids flower during early summer. If you choose the route from the wooden sign via Millersten, it is about 5.4 km to the parking area at Penåsa. There are information displays, toilets and seating facilities at the parking area.
