Öland, the destination for all tastes!

The grazing animals that nibble on herbs from the beach meadows and keep the landscape open are an important part of the agricultural culture on Öland. The herbs get nourishment from the limestone base and the potatoes get their best taste from sandy soils in the north. In the farm shops there is ham, country milk, cheese, eggs, vegetables and fruit. Examples of Öland food processing and production are broad. Finding Öland drinks with the food is not difficult. Micro-format temples and breweries are located on the island and even grapes are grown for wine production.
